Daryl began working in the mortgage industry in 1999 and has been consistently ranked as one of the top mortgage professionals in our organization, personally brokering over $200,000,000 in loan volume. There is truly no education quite like hands-on experience. After nearly 800 transactions, Daryl has handled just about every scenario out there and he prides himself in helping his clients find great rates, the right programs, and delivering loans on time without any last minute surprises.

Personal Life

Daryl was born in Washington D.C. and spent much of his life in the Raleigh, NC area, where he met his wife, Karen. They currently live in Wilmington, NC, and have two beautiful children, Cole and Andie. In his free time, he enjoys golf and being with friends and family.

Work Environment - Being a Seattle WA Home Loan Advisor

Unlike many Seattle Home Loan Officers, Daryl does not operate in the traditional “retail environment” of soliciting business from local real estate professionals. Rather, he works in AAXA’s headquarters in North Carolina and works almost exclusively with past clients, customer referrals, and clients directly contacting our organization. Some customers have concerns about working with a mortgage company that is not right down the street. The truth of the matter is that in today’s marketplace almost all paperwork is sent via email between the lender, broker, insurance carrier, and title agent and/or attorney. Whether Daryl is a block away or across the country, the process is just about the same and, in fact, more streamlined.
